


MAT PILATES
Tanya is a fully qualified Pilate’s instructor and will tailor a program to suit your individual needs. As you improve and your body strengthens, so will the program be adapted to provide continual improvement and benefits.
A trained instructor ensures you perform all routines correctly for optimum performance. You will learn the basic principles of Pilates, including the Pilates breathing technique, the neutral spine position and the correct activation of your core as well as shoulder and pelvic stability.
Senior fitness can be catered for individually or in a small group.. Pilates is a great option for Senior fitness. Modified exercises gives increased levels of strength, balance, flexibility, muscle tone, stamina and well being. (Joseph Pilates practised his method into his 80’s) Finding it hard to get down on floor? Exercises can be adapted for each participant. A lot of the exercises can be done sitting or standing.
Rehab after Injury or Surgery is also catered for. An individual program specific to speed your recovery will be instigated.
Mat Pilates can be arranged to be conducted in
